CAPSULE WARDROBE: WHAT IT IS & HOW TO CREATE ONE

Who has time to stress out about what to wear? Absolutely not us. If you share our sentiments, we believe you will find the concept of capsule wardrobes to be very appealing. Let's start now.

WHAT IS A CAPSULE WARDROBE?
According to our study, the concept of a capsule wardrobe has been around since at least the 1970s, if not before. To offer you a formal definition, here it is: A capsule wardrobe is a small selection of outfits that can be worn on several occasions. What does that actually mean, then? When getting ready for work, you can choose your favorite top and combine it with the most appropriate bottoms because all of your clothes match. Game time? Pick up a pair of jeans to replace the work pants. You spend less time worrying and more time getting dressed because everything fits together and is quite simple.

HOW IS A CAPSULE WARDROBE CREATED?
A capsule wardrobe consists of more than a single outfit. It's an attitude. It is the idea that each and every item in your wardrobe should be of a high enough standard to last a lifetime and be something you adore enough to want to wear every day. Classic pieces are essential in terms of aesthetics since they are timeless and may be used for a very long time.

But enough theory; we want to get down to business and actually demonstrate which products will fit into your *new* capsule wardrobe. Men's and women's products will be separated out into separate sections based only on how they are sized, but you are under no need to stick with either gender.

TOPS

MEN'S

Men generally experience fewer trend cycles than women, therefore most of the guys out there won't find these styles and silhouettes to be absurd. You should start with a few t-shirts in neutral colors, perhaps even a henley if that's your style. White is a must-have. They can be worn alone and are fantastic for layering. Then one or two button-downs. Again, a white button-down is strongly recommended, but we also like the notion of adding a corduroy or denim button-down for a little extra texture. The same goes for sweaters and sweatshirts. Depending on your preference and intended use, choose a crew neck, hoodie, or both. While we're at it, add a top with a traditional design, like stripes, polka dots, or florals. Depending on your particular taste, choose your favorite.

WOMEN'S

Work with us here. As with all women's assortments, this one might be a little difficult because women's clothing tends to be a little more trend-focused. As usual, we're offering some suggestions, but you can change them to suit your tastes and preferences. Let's begin, then. Tees? Of sure, I say. obviously in white, at the very least. Alternatively, if simple layering tanks are more your style, you can substitute for them. Then, something elegant Choose a few shirts that speak to you deeply (and can match with a lot of different items). For a little bit of sex appeal, we're fairly fascinated with a satin button-down, but one again, make sure you're tailoring based on your style. We wouldn't mind if you substituted a denim button-down because that would suit your style better, for example. sweaters, at last. Yes, again, and again. Choose a reliable cardigan as well as a cozy pullover. If you want something to lounge in, include a zip-up, crew-neck, or hooded sweatshirt in a more relaxed style.

BOTTOMS

MEN'S

Any straight-leg fashion will last over time. To remain timeless, choose a medium wash. Next, the non-denim pant is strongly advised. The stretchy favorite may completely match anything in your collection, shake up your style, and enable you to exhibit your personality while still matching with the rest of your clothing. Particularly if you reside in a warmer climate, shorts are a need. At last, sweats. Duh. These are obviously necessary for lounging, which is something you'll want to do at some time.

WOMEN'S

Straight leg pants with a medium wash will always look stylish. Black denim might also be an excellent addition because of how adaptable it is. It's elegant but unpretentious, and mixing and matching is simple. Then non-denim. We adore a corduroy pant's adaptability. It works well between 9 and 5 and gives a nice texture to the mixture. Again, a straight leg will always look wonderful, but to change things up a bit, you may also choose a wider or skinnier leg here. Don't forget that sweats can count as non-denim, so grab a pair to ensure you have something for those days spent lounging on the couch. Shorts must be worn. Cutoffs made of denim are a must. Choose your length and give them work to do. We're also including a skirt of your choice for the ladies. Although much of this depends on personal preference, we'll suggest a denim mini because we're the denim experts. It's simple, adaptable, and, let's be honest, a little sexy.

OUTERWEAR

MEN'S

The trucker jacket is a necessity for every capsule wardrobe. You'll use it frequently as a lightweight layering piece because it's so simple. A windbreaker or anorak would follow. A little bit of water resistance, together with something sporty and enjoyable, will go a long way. At last, a bulky item like a parka or puffer. Whatever will keep the cold out and maintain your self-confidence.

WOMEN'S

Although the Trucker is already on the list, we're going to add a fun twist by suggesting a sherpa option if you'd need a little extra warmth. And now for something a little more informal. The baseball jacket is what we advise. It has a classic sports appearance that is not at all hip. Finally, a wintertime choice. While a puffer is excellent, we also adore a classic overcoat in a lengthy length. The lapels, for some reason, give it a feeling of effortless sophistication and complete timelessness.

ACCESORIES

Finally, accessories. You can really show off your personality in these situations. Our selection of accessories allows you to fully express your sense of style, from baseball caps to bucket hats, scarves, socks, and purses. This is the time to use bold colors and patterns that will stand out against your mix-and-match attire.
